St. Stephen's Acolyte Guild

The Acolyte Guild at Christ & Holy Trinity is the oldest continuing organization in the parish. It includes all those who serve as assistants at celebrations of Holy Eucharist and other liturgies. Acolytes lead the processions into and out of the church, assist at the reading of the Gospel and at the Offertory, and serve the Deacon, Priest or Bishop in the preparation of the communion elements.

Senior acolytes (those youth or adults high school age and older who have been confirmed or received) mentor younger acolytes in the 9:15 a.m. service, and take additional parts in the liturgy, including reading of lessons and prayers of the people.
