We welcome Tiffany Nash to our Christ & Holy Trinity staff. Tiffany will replace Marilyn as Parish Secretary beginning on May 1st. For these last five days while Marilyn is still here, Tiffany will be in the office learning all she can about the position, our parishioners and our mission. Please stop by, introduce yourself and make Tiffany feel the warmth of our CHT family’s hospitality.
And don’t forget to join us on Sunday, May 4th as we wish God-speed to Marilyn after the 9:30 a.m. service.
Save the Date for “Protecting Your Child on Social Media”: CHT will present Robert Hackensen, a professional speaker, who will entertain and educate parents and children on safely navigating instagram, snapchat, askfm, etc. Sunday, May 4, 5:00-8:00 p.m. This program is especially geared for 5th-8th graders and their parents but all are welcome. Suggested donation of $15 per family. Contact: Jen Kepner. RSVP HERE or call the church office, 203.227.0827.
Walking in the Way
Entering Holy Week, we have accomplished our goal of reaching Jerusalem! With more than 3,000 exercise miles, 32 individual parishioners and 14 families accumulated those miles through walking, swimming, physical therapy, Zumba and other aerobic activities. The route took us from Brest, France over the Alps to Turin and on to Thessalonika, Ephesus, Cappadocia and Damascus. Palm Sunday was the entry day to Jerusalem. Hopefully participants are feeling physically more alive and spiritually renewed with this Lenten practice.
"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; They will run and not grow weary, They will walk and not be faint." Isaiah 40:31
