Sunday September 14th, Yale theologian and CHT's resident theologian, The Rev. Dr. Christopher Beeley, kicked off our Fall Adult Forum series with a course on the Stages of Spiritual Growth. A reading list will soon be posted, so check back with this page!


Announcements:    Welcome to three new staff members!
Associate Rector, The Rev. Colin Chapman, is a graduate of General Theological Seminary in NY and has been serving as Curate at Christ Church, Rye, NY. He is a wiz with technology and has a natural ability to work with young people. Colin will be serving in pastoral and liturgical leadership, and will be Chaplain to the Preschool, assisting with Newcomers and Welcoming, Youth, Children and revamping our Communications. Colin's wife, Christie, is an LCSW hoping to build a private practice here in Westport. They have 2 children, Jack (4) and Natalie (2). Colin’s first Sunday with us will be September 21st.

Theologian-in-Residence, The Rev. Dr. Christopher Beeley, is the tenured professor of Anglican Studies and Early Church Theology at Yale Divinity School. He has offered to be with us through the academic year as a visiting pastor, preacher and teacher. Please join me in welcoming him and his family on his first Sunday, September 7th.

Andrew Moore,  
Seminary Intern, is in his senior year at Berkeley Divinity School at Yale. A native of Illinois, he has lived and worked in Memphis for years. He has a background in theater and served in youth ministry before attending seminary, and has just completed a summer as the Spiritual Director for the Camps of the Diocese of Chicago. Throughout this academic year, Andrew will be serving with us in developing new liturgies, pastoral care and adult formation. Andrew began with us August 17th and will be with us most Sundays!

United Thank Offering (UTO): Sunday, August 24, was our Parish Ingathering for the United Thank Offering. Thank you for giving to the churches mission at home and abroad!
